Sweet Sue Lake

Following 85mm of rain on Tuesday 7 December 2010, we arrived on the following Friday and discovered that we had gained a new water feature. Events of this sort occur only once in 20 years (the last was 1992), the region normally being very dry. The limestone base ensures that rain soaks away very quickly, and any remaining surface water will last only a few days.

Sweet Sue, TIm and Bennie investigate our new water feature.
